Pinhole-Free PbS Thin Films Obtained by Chemical Bath Deposition Method

In this study, the (Lead Sulfide) PbS thin films with one, two, and three layers were fabricated by employing chemical bath deposition method. Layer layer production of was realized for first time as seen in literature review. For investigating crystal structures, X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis used. The structural analyses indicated that crystallite size decreased from about 40 nm to 8-10 depending on number layers. surface micrographs obtained using scanning electron microscopy (SEM). When film one layer, some cracks, pinholes, voids observed sample surface. However, no voids, or pinhole formation found when coated two
